Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Comptroller to perform the operations of the accounting department, this includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implements a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.

  • Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.

  • Controls credit card authorized users and usage as well as bill entering.

  • Invoices and tracks payments received.

  • Manages employee bank deposits weekly.

  • Filing of payroll tax reports & forms, sales taxes, as well as other government required items.

  • Effectively communicates with banking officials.

  • Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.

  • Cash management in various bank accounts & line of credit.

  • Insurance audits and liability.

  • Enter bills & pay bills/expenses as needed.

  • Ensure credit card has available balance for employee charges.

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Requirements of the Comptroller:

  • Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Fiscal Management or related field.

Experienced Concrete Foreman

Full job description

Track and Field Installers (TFI) is looking to hire a full time, seasonal, Concrete Foreman. Salary is commensurate to experience and benefits are included in offering.

Work weeks are generally out of town for the week leaving from our shop Monday morning and returning to our shop Friday afternoon. Work trucks are provided for the crews to drive to the job site. We pay for the hotel as well as book the rooms for the crew to stay in. Each worker who is on the road all week will be given $25.50 per day for meals. Must be 18 years of age or older to apply. We are seeking employees with experience as a concrete foreman.

Track and Field Installers is an Upstate New York based Subcontractor which performs installation of concrete curbs, walkways, trench drainage, and athletic events. We work on projects at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels throughout the Northeast region and are a non-union shop. Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 Years Experience with Concrete Forming & Finishing

  • Previous experience in a Foreman position

  • Ability to communicate and report effectively

  • Problem solving skills

  • Knowledge in concrete placement

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications of Crew Laborers:

  • Ability to perform strenuous tasks

  • Ability to kneel, bend, and lift heavy materials

  • Ability to measure accurately and read specifications

  • Building forms

  • Pouring and finishing concrete

  • Cleaning of sites.

  • Loading and unloading of materials

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
